Marquette Beautification & Restoration Committee Twelfth Annual Garden Tour

The tour this year is featuring Historic & Neighboring Gardens.
- Donna Keskimaki & Jack Leadbetter, Marquette
An evolving garden over the last four years. Paths accented with statues & hanging baskets lead you down to a gazebo in the woods.
- Delbert & Jane Compton, Marquette
In contrast this backyard has a natural feel with a waterfall & pond.
- Denise & Orlin Bowman, Marquette
Flower gardens grace the front & back and a deck punctuated with colorful hanging baskets. There is also a cultivated vegetable garden and culinary herb garden to complete this yard.
- Lloyd Helt, Marquette
A bountiful backyard vegetable garden with floral gardens surrounding the house.
- Barbara Patrick, Marquette
A gardener’s delight – flowering gardens with birdhouses & birdfeeders and a fenced in vegetable garden. There is a deck nestled in the woods with multiple potted flowers.
- Historic Park Cemetery (off of Seventh Street in Marquette)
- Marquette Community Garden - Local gardeners tend a small plot
- Moosewood Children’s Garden - In front on the Community garden
- Park Cemetery Gardens (A map will be given to you when you enter)
Take a quiet stroll through the cemetery and enjoy its lovely gardens and ponds.
- Prison Gardens – Historic Marquette Branch Prison
1960 US 41 South, Marquette
These floral gardens are maintained by the trustees of the prison and are beautiful. Taking photos is not permitted.
- Historic Harlow’s Wooden Man
Rod and Holly Aldrich (Amos Harlow Property), Marquette
Walk the winding woodland path to view Harlow’s Wooden Man which dates back to 1875.
- First Presbyterian Church
