MBRC's 2012 Garden Conference was held Saturday, June 30, 2012.
MBRC's 2011 Garden Conference featured Ed Lyon, Director of the Allen Centennial Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin, who presented "Cold Climate Gardening". Ed's public garden experience includes Chicago Botanical Garden, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and Rotary Botanical Gardens. He writes and speaks for both public and professional audiences across the Midwest and writes for magazines including "Chicagoland Gardening", "Nursery Management Pro", and "American Nurseryman". He writes a regular regional report on southern Wisconsin for "Chicagoland Gardening". He loves Photography and takes all of he images used in his presentations. For almost 10 years Ed assisted in a speciality nursery and has past experience as a greenhouse manager. Most importantly, he is an avid gardener with dirt under his fingernails.
